Jerad Formby: So you haven’t posted for awhile.
Jerad Formby: I know it. Honestly, when Trekcast sounded out the idea of Hey Star Trek! having an audible form, I got right into teaching myself audio software. I began creating these audio files that I thought sounded like Hey Star Trek! and it took days and hours so I missed out on posting.
Jerad Formby: That’s a lot of audio work!
Jerad Formby: Not really, when you consider that basically the time I would spend on a post, I spent on learning these audio programs. Now I feel confident on two fronts –I know just enough about the software to get in trouble and I also know what Hey Star Trek! will be audibly, so now I’m free to write again. What about you?
Jerad Formby: I’m sorry?
Jerad Formby: Why haven’t you posted?
Jerad Formby: Oh. I moved.
Jerad Formby: That sounds pretty involved.
Jerad Formby: It was. Oh, I also had a friend from Twitter blow out my tumblr page.
Jerad Formby: And what is Tumblr?
Jerad Formby: It’s a miniature blog site that I signed up for because, well, you’ll appreciate this, you can post audio there.
Jerad Formby: Sounds perfect to present a file I might have made.
Jerad Formby: It’s already up there!
Jerad Formby: So you’re saying people can go to heystartrek.tumblr.com and hear some of what this audible approach to Hey Star Trek! is going to be?
Jerad Formby: That they can. And I’m also very excited to say that in addition to a new Hey Star Trek! post over this weekend, Hey Star Trek! will make its audible debut with the next episode of Trekcast.
Jerad Formby: Thanks for taking the time to chat with me, Jerad Formby.
Jerad Formby: Anytime, Jerad Formby.
